The administrative documents of the Mariupol Greek Court reveal the level of material well-being of Greek inhabitants individually and of the villages as a whole, and create potential opportunities for understanding their history and material conditions of life. In the presented cases of the Greek court, among the administrative sources, reports, registers, extracts, tables, and “information” stand out.

As an example, let us consider the internal structure of the textual part of the “information” sent by the Greek court for the report to the Ministry of Police. The text was divided into the following sections:

By processing the above-mentioned cases of the Mariupol Greek Court, it is possible to clarify questions concerning the immovable property of the Greeks (shops, mills, farmsteads, fisheries, etc.), their income, and the difficulties they encountered in economic activity. The materials of the Greek court contain information about the number of livestock in each settlement, the production of lard and wool and their use for domestic needs, the cultivation and household use of grain crops, and other information.
